"Excellent information for people in and around public health. I have downloaded all the lectures. What more can you ask for, than getting free lectures from teachers of one of the Best Public Health Colleges in the World."- Pritish John, India |
"I am happy that a school as reputed as JSPH has initiated a open course which I am sure will benefit scores of students in the third world nations. I sure hope that more topics will be included in coming time.

"I’m writing on behalf of OOPS (Opensource OpenCourseWare Prototype System), a group of over 1,600 volunteers working to translate every OCW site into Chinese. I want to say that OCW goes way beyond any definition of OpenCourseWare: It’s a spirit of "with greater power comes greater responsibility." Thank you, JHSPH, for sharing your precious knowledge with the world and giving us the chance to pass it on!"- Lucifer Chu, Taiwan |
"A great effort yields its fruit worldwide. I live in the Himalayan valley of Yasin but it doesn't hamper me to learn from Johns Hopkins University from around the globe. I salute the people involved."- Sartaj Alam, Pakistan |
"What you have done will benefit the world and the future. I am glad to see another OCW is coming, and I hope and believe that many more OCWs will emerge and advance humanity's progress. Open and share is the future, especially in education. I have tracked OCW for about two years, and I am glad to see OCW is becoming stronger and greater."- Wang Long, China |
"I am simply floored by how AWESOME this endeavor is. You are certainly one of the leading-edge resources devoted to furthering the advancement and equitable exchange of knowledge globally. I thank you for opening up your doors to those who may not have the means to do so otherwise! It is more than appreciated. "- Coretta M. Jackson, United States |
"I was a user of MIT's OpenCourseWare earlier, but with the more health care-focused initiative by Johns Hopkins, I think the world is opening its doors to all knowledge-seekers, irrespective of their social or ethnic backgrounds. This paradigm shift will exponentially raise the collective intellect of the world. I see more and more individuals who have inborn abilities but who are constrained by a lack of resources—they will now be able to keep abreast of the latest developments in their fields of interest. Keep up the good work!"- Shahood Alam, Pakistan |
"I've already forwarded this link to my colleagues so that they can take advantage of your materials. This seems to me a great opportunity to bridge the gap of knowledge and to build a more horizontal cooperation in academia, keeping always in mind our common goal: the improvement of peoples' health. "- Daniel Lopez-Cevallos, United States |
